Bill and Kathy Collins founded Conn Creek in 1973, and five decades on the winery still focuses on what Napa Valley does best: Cabernet Sauvignon and other Bordeaux varieties. Its AVA Series and Anthology blend draw on vineyards in Napa Valley's different appellations.
Conn Creek wines are made by Jean Hoefliger, whose career began at Bordeaux estates such as Château Lynch-Bages and who has consulted for producers including AXR and The Debate. They are poured at The Yount Room, a collective tasting room in the historic Yountville Station building on Washington Street, in the Yountville AVA, shared with Cornerstone Cellars, Cain and other small producers.
The Yount Room offers a Winery Focus flight that can be devoted to Conn Creek and a Collective Flight with partner wineries. About once a week it runs the Conn Creek Barrel Blending Experience: you taste barrel samples, compare vineyards and varieties, and make your own version of the Anthology blend, which you can bottle with a one-case purchase.
$50 for the Winery Focus flight, which can be devoted to Conn Creek, or the Collective Flight with partner wineries. $75 for the Conn Creek Barrel Blending Experience, a hands-on seminar offered about once a week. Durations are not published; plan about an hour for a flight.
Tasting fees as of September 2026. Wineries set and collect their own fees, and they change from time to time.
