Michael and Waverly Accurso founded Accurso Wines in 2022, after more than a decade of planning. Michael is a Napa Valley native and Waverly is from Granite Bay; both studied wine and viticulture at Cal Poly, and they met as harvest interns at Goldeneye in Anderson Valley in 2012. Michael stayed on there and became head winemaker, while Waverly worked in the lab at Roederer Estate.
In 2018 they came back to Napa Valley. Michael worked at Far Niente on the EnRoute and Bella Union wines, and Waverly worked with Frank Family Vineyards, Hundred Acre and Simon Family Estate. Their label splits along those lines: coastal Pinot Noir is his, and Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, from an exceptional vineyard source, is hers, with new vineyard sources explored each vintage.
The wines, including Pinot Noir, Cabernet, Chardonnay and rosé, are sold through the online shop and a wine club, and the couple pours at events such as Lake Tahoe's Concours d'Elegance. Accurso lists no tasting room, address or visiting program, so it does not receive visitors. The day below takes you to three sought-after estates nearby that do host.
Accurso does not offer tastings.
Tasting fees as of September 2026. Wineries set and collect their own fees, and they change from time to time.

Since Accurso does not host visitors, this day takes you to three sought-after estates nearby that do. Both Carneros resorts are about 20 minutes from the Mount Veeder meeting point. The day runs about six and a quarter hours, and extra time can be added by the hour.
About 20 minutes away. Chris Carpenter's organically farmed Mount Veeder estate above the fog line, where a walk at the Mt. Brave Overlook comes before the seated tasting. The Mt. Veeder Experience is $175, 90 minutes or more, for 2 to 6 guests. By reservation; the meeting point is confirmed with the booking.
About 20 minutes away. Lunch at Boon Fly Café in Carneros, which serves its daytime menu every day until 4 p.m. Prefer a picnic? We can arrange a catered picnic at a winery that allows one; the cost is quoted when you book.
About 12 minutes away. A young family winery in Napa's Crusher District, where each party gets its own private tasting area. The Private Tasting is $65, waived with a purchase of three bottles; we plan about an hour. By reservation request, seven days a week.
About 10 minutes away. A private tasting salon upstairs in a historic downtown Napa building, pouring Beckstoffer and other pedigreed-vineyard Cabernets among the barrels. Into the Cellar, a seated tasting with artisanal food pairings, is $150; we allow about 90 minutes. By reservation.
Back by about 4:20 p.m., about six and a quarter hours after pickup.
About $390 per person in tasting fees for the three wineries, paid directly to each winery.
Mt. Brave confirms its meeting point with the booking, and Kubani confirms its time when it accepts the request. Back by about 4:20 p.m.
