Kubani's founder, Rajeev B. Parikh, first visited Napa Valley in 1997, and the trip stayed with him. In 2010 he was awarded a Riedel distributorship for India, and from 2011 to 2016 he hosted wine education events across the country, before his love of wine brought him back to the United States in 2016.
A 2018 meeting with Bobby Moy led to his first Petite Sirah grapes, and Kubani released its inaugural vintage in 2022, built around the idea of bringing people together. The founder describes it as a celebration for his family of hard work, values and a passion for life. The lineup runs from Napa Chardonnay and Pinot Noir to Napa Cabernet Sauvignon, a Mountain Cuvée Cabernet, Grenache, rosé and Muscat.
Tastings are private and seated at the winery on Enterprise Way, in the Crusher District at the south end of the city of Napa. A tasting area is reserved for your party alone, and the fee is waived when you buy three or more bottles. Requests are taken seven days a week, which makes Kubani an easy, personal stop to fit into almost any day.
$65 for the Private Tasting and $85 for the Reserve Tasting, waived with a purchase of three or more bottles.
Tasting fees as of September 2026. Wineries set and collect their own fees, and they change from time to time.
