About the Property
Le Petit Pali St. Helena, formerly the Wine Country Inn, sits on three acres beside the vineyards on Lodi Lane, north of downtown St. Helena. It has 24 guest rooms and five stand-alone cottages, and the Michelin Guide awards it one Michelin Key.
A Champagne continental breakfast with Model Bakery pastries is included each morning, and there are social hours with local wines each evening. There is a pool and hot tub, a garden bar and house bicycles for the Napa Valley Vine Trail. Dogs up to 35 pounds are welcome for a fee.
It is also an easy place to start a wine tour. Freemark Abbey, Duckhorn Vineyards and Markham Vineyards are all within about 5 minutes, and Calistoga is about 15 minutes north. We are based in Calistoga, a short drive up the valley.
Getting Here From the Airport
Sonoma County Airport (STS): about 25 miles, 45 minutes. The closest airport to Le Petit Pali St. Helena and the easiest arrival: a short drive over the hills from Santa Rosa, with no Bay Area traffic. Direct flights come in from Los Angeles, San Diego, Seattle, Portland, Phoenix, Denver, Dallas and more.
San Francisco International (SFO): about 79 miles, 1 hour 40 minutes, and 2 hours or more at busy times. The most flights, with the longest drive, across the Bay Area and up through Napa Valley.
