About the Property

Creekside Inn and Resort sits on two wooded acres of redwoods on the banks of the Russian River, just across the river from downtown Guerneville. Guests stay in cabins and suites.

There is a hot tub under the trees, decks, and picnic areas with barbecues. Ping pong and yard bowling are on the grounds.

It is also an easy place to start a wine tour. Korbel Champagne Cellars, Gary Farrell Vineyards & Winery and Hartford Family Winery are all within about 20 minutes. We are based in Calistoga, in neighboring Napa Valley.

Getting Here From the Airport

Sonoma County Airport (STS): about 16 miles, 35 minutes. The closest airport to Creekside Inn, and the easiest arrival: a small airport in Santa Rosa with no Bay Area traffic on the drive. Direct flights come in from Los Angeles, San Diego, Seattle, Portland, Phoenix, Denver, Dallas and more.

Oakland (OAK): about 82 miles, 1 hour 50 minutes. Often a quieter airport than SFO.

San Francisco International (SFO): about 82 miles, 2 hours, and longer at busy times. The most flights, with a drive across the Bay Area.

About 5 minutes away. A café, soda fountain and general store at the center of Graton since 1995, serving down-home comfort food. Lunch from 11:30 a.m. Prefer a picnic? We can arrange a catered picnic at a winery that allows one; the cost is quoted when you book.

About 15 minutes away. Cool-climate Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from the Gloria and Yu-ki estate vineyards, poured in the cave or a redwood grove. The Estate Cave Tasting is $50, Friday to Sunday. By appointment only.
