About the Winery

Tony Moll, Daryn Colledge and Jason Spitz were offensive linemen drafted by the same NFL team in April 2006, and found they shared a love of great wine on the road together. Tony grew up in Sonoma among vineyards his family has tended for five generations, played for the Packers, Ravens and Chargers, and came home to run Three Fat Guys; Daryn and Jason help with sales around the country.

Director of winemaking Jim McMahon was raised in Sonoma and has worked at Kenwood Vineyards, Luna Vineyards, William Harrison and Caymus. The wines include the Linemen Red Blend, a Carneros Pinot Noir and a Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon, and the winery's Old Rail Cabernet Sauvignon vineyard lies a mile east of the Sonoma Plaza, with views of Sonoma Mountain.

The tasting room on Broadway, just south of the plaza, is relaxed and fun, with a cozy backyard and garden, and Tony is often there greeting guests and pouring. The Premier Wine Tasting Flight takes about 90 minutes, there is wine by the glass and bottle all day, and groups can arrange a vineyard tasting led by Tony at Old Rail, or golf at Sonoma Golf Club followed by a tasting.

Tasting Fees

$40 for the Premier Wine Tasting Flight of five wines, about 90 minutes. Wine by the glass runs $10 to $35 for a short Splash & Dash visit. Group experiences are priced on request.

Tasting fees as of September 2026. Wineries set and collect their own fees, and they change from time to time.
