A small family winery's Trust wines from Dry Creek Valley, Howell Mountain and beyond, poured at a new tasting room a mile from the Healdsburg plaza, and a suggested six-hour day of tasting around it.

Nancy Walker and Tony Stephen have spent most of their lives in the vineyards and wineries of California, and in 2004 they started a winery of their own, Stephen & Walker, whose wines carry the Trust name. It remains a small, family-owned winery that keeps production limited so each bottle carries a personal touch.
The wines come from vineyards the couple tends with growers in Sonoma, Napa, Mendocino and Monterey counties, chosen for how clearly they show their place: Dry Creek Valley, the Russian River Valley, Howell Mountain, Mendocino Ridge and Monterey. The range includes reds, whites and magnums, and the wines have won awards at major competitions.
The tasting room has moved to Grove Street, on the north side of Healdsburg toward Dry Creek Valley and about a mile from the plaza, which makes it an easy first stop of the day. It is a chance to taste several California regions side by side with the people who make the wines.
Tasting fees to be verified upon reservation.
Tasting fees as of September 2026. Wineries set and collect their own fees, and they change from time to time.
