Robert Green Vineyards is a family-owned boutique winery in Sonoma County owned by Robert S. Green, Jr. The family bought 258 acres of oak woodlands in the Alexander Valley that were already home to a 12-acre vineyard of Cabernet Sauvignon, and then recruited growers and winemakers to work with the site.
The winery specializes in age-worthy Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay, and Green writes that each vintage is unique and that the wines are meant to respect the Alexander Valley. The business office is in San Diego.
There is no tasting room, and Robert Green Vineyards does not receive visitors. To hear about the wines, join the interest list or send a message through the website. The day below stays in the Alexander Valley, at three estates that do host.
