Co-founder Darin Parvin's wine journey began in the early 1990s, inspired by time at his uncle's winery in Napa Valley. While studying micro-molecular biology in college he went into wine retail, and his love of the world's wines grew while working under the respected David Berkley in Sacramento. He later became a Level 2 sommelier and partnered with a boutique Sonoma County winery, handling vineyard contracting and production.
His wife, Christine, an entrepreneur at heart, has been his partner in the wine journey since they met in Sonoma County in 2003. Together they bring more than 30 years of collective experience to Parvin Family Wines, a family brand built on Napa and Sonoma-inspired winemaking and on tradition and craftsmanship.
Parvin has no tasting room or published visiting program. The wines are sold through a curated list of restaurants, wine bars and specialty shops, and the family welcomes inquiries from retailers and restaurants through its website. For a day of small family wineries in the Russian River Valley, we take guests to estates nearby that host.
Parvin Family Wines does not offer tastings.
Tasting fees as of September 2026. Wineries set and collect their own fees, and they change from time to time.

Pickup at 10:00 a.m. from a Healdsburg hotel such as Hotel Healdsburg or Harmon Guest House.
Hotel Healdsburg, on the town plaza, and Harmon Guest House, a boutique hotel just off the plaza, are each about 20 minutes from Gracianna on Westside Road. Since Parvin Family Wines does not host visitors, this day takes you to three family wineries nearby that do. The day below fits a six-hour tour, and extra time can be added by the hour.
About 20 minutes away. The Amador family's estate on Westside Road, named for Gracianna Lasaga, a French Basque ancestor, with estate Pinot Noir from the Mercedes Riverblock on the bank of the Russian River. Every tasting is seated outdoors among the family-designed buildings and gardens, about 75 minutes: six wines for $30 or eight or more for $45, each waived with a purchase. Open daily 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., April 1 to November 30; appointments appreciated.
About 10 minutes away. A small family winery in the Middle Reach of Westside Road, one of the Wilson Artisan Wineries, with estate Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from the Russian River Valley, the Sonoma Coast and Dry Creek Valley; the patio and shaded veranda look across hillside vineyards. The Outdoor Seated Patio Tasting of five wines is $25, paid when booked. Open Thursday to Tuesday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.; closed Wednesday.
About 10 minutes away. There has been a bakery on this stretch of Healdsburg Avenue since 1923, and the Seppi family has run it as Costeaux since 1981. The café serves hearty seasonal dishes indoors or on the patio. Open daily from 7:30 a.m. Prefer a picnic? We can arrange a catered picnic at a winery that allows one; the cost is quoted when you book.
About 15 minutes away. A small-lot estate winery that passed in 2025 to Kyle and Christina Cameron; Kyle is a seventh-generation Russian River Valley grower whose family has farmed in Fulton since 1853, and the wines are estate grown and made with lower alcohol. The new tasting room is on the Windsor Town Green. Open from noon daily, until 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday; walk-ins welcome, and we confirm the fee when we book.
Back in Healdsburg by 3:35 p.m., within six hours of pickup.
Three wineries is the right pace for a day of serious tasting. Gracianna is open April 1 to November 30 and Matrix is closed Wednesday, so this day works Thursday to Tuesday in those months.
About $55 to $70 per person in tasting fees for Gracianna and Matrix, paid directly to each winery; Trecini's fee is to be verified upon reservation.
Every tour is custom. This day is a starting point: your chauffeur will shape it around what matters to you, and we plan multi-day tours for guests who want to see more of wine country.
