Unfussy $20 Cabernet, Sauvignon Blanc and canned fizz made in Sonoma by friends from the music business. No Fine Print does not receive visitors; here is what to know, and a day at sought-after estates nearby that do host.
Book a Six-Hour Wine Tour
No Fine Print was started by friends whose day jobs are in the music business and who wanted to share good wine without the pretense. The first vintage, in 2018, was 500 cases of Cabernet Sauvignon, and the company says it finished that year with more than 3,500 cases. The wines are made and shipped from Sonoma, and the company gives part of its proceeds to a cause each year.
The flagship is the $20 Cabernet Sauvignon. The 2024 blends Cabernet from Lodi with Zinfandel from the Venturi Vineyard in Mendocino County and Merlot from the Pickberry Vineyard on Sonoma Mountain. There is also a Sauvignon Blanc, a canned fizzy white called Lil Fizz, and limited Fine Print bottlings of 500 cases or less, such as an Atlas Peak Tempranillo.
There is no tasting room. The company's FAQ says it is not really set up for tours, and the wines are sold online, by subscription and in stores around the country. The day below stays in Sonoma, with a Carneros cave visit and two tasting rooms near the Plaza.
No Fine Print does not offer tastings. On the day below, fees run $65 at Schug, $85 at Three Sticks and $25 at Sebastiani, paid to each winery.
Tasting fees as of October 2026. Wineries set and collect their own fees, and they change from time to time.

Since No Fine Print does not host visitors, this day takes you to three sought-after estates nearby that do. Both hotels are near the Sonoma Plaza, about 15 minutes from the first stop in Carneros. The day runs about six hours, and extra time can be added by the hour.
About 15 minutes away. The Carneros Pinot Noir house founded by the first winemaker of Insignia. The Estate Cave Experience, with sparkling wine, a guided cave stroll and a seated tasting, is $65, 90 minutes.
About 15 minutes away. Lunch at El Dorado Kitchen on the Sonoma Plaza, with a seasonal California menu. We confirm lunch hours when we book. Prefer a picnic? We can arrange a catered picnic at a winery that allows one; the cost is quoted when you book.
A few minutes away. Estate Pinot Noir and Chardonnay poured in an 1842 adobe off the Plaza. The Taste of Three Sticks is $85; we plan about an hour. By reservation only, for parties of up to 6.
About 5 minutes away. A family winery since 1904, a few blocks from the Plaza. The Family Table tasting of five wines at the bar is $25. Open daily until 5 p.m.; walk-ins welcome.
Back by about 3:45 p.m.
Schug's tasting bar is open Monday to Saturday, so we confirm the cave visit when we book; on a Sunday we would swap in another Carneros winery.
About $175 per person in tasting fees for the three wineries, paid directly to each winery.
