Crossbarn is the winery Paul Hobbs founded in 2000, named for the cross barn on his family's fruit farm in Niagara County, New York, a favorite meeting spot for Hobbs and his siblings between the horse stable and the larger barn. The winery describes itself as a reflection of the ideals of farm life.
The wines are made in a converted apple processing building in Sebastopol, a nod to the town's orchard past. The lineup centers on Sonoma Coast Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, including fruit from Feeney Ranch, which Hobbs bought in 2014, along with a limited Rosé of Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley and Alexander Valley.
Visits are by appointment. Taste with Us is a seated tasting of a flight of current and limited release wines, paired with local cheeses. It is a relaxed, well-priced way to taste wines from the Paul Hobbs family, and it sits a few minutes from several of the Green Valley's best-known tasting rooms. We confirm current details when we book.
$20 per person for Taste with Us, a seated tasting of current and limited release wines with a selection of local cheeses. Complimentary for Gravenstein Club members. We confirm the current price when we book.
Tasting fees as of October 2026. Wineries set and collect their own fees, and they change from time to time.
