About the Property
Farmhouse Inn is a 25-room country inn on six acres along River Road in the Russian River Valley. Siblings Catherine and Joe, descendants of stonemason Domenico Giovanetti, bought it in 2001, and the original farmhouse still anchors the property. Rooms are in the barn and in cottages, from junior suites to one-bedroom suites.
The Restaurant serves farm-to-table breakfast, lunch and dinner, with in-room dining as well. There is The Wellness Barn spa, a heated pool and hot tub, a daily wine hour and nightly s'mores at the fire pits. Dogs and cats are welcome for $150 per pet per stay.
It is also an easy place to start a wine tour. Gary Farrell Vineyards & Winery, Kistler Vineyards and Hartford Family Winery are all within about 15 minutes. We are based in Calistoga, in neighboring Napa Valley.
Getting Here From the Airport
Sonoma County Airport (STS): about 8 miles, 20 minutes. The closest airport to Farmhouse Inn, and the easiest arrival: a small airport in Santa Rosa with no Bay Area traffic on the drive. Direct flights come in from Los Angeles, San Diego, Seattle, Portland, Phoenix, Denver, Dallas and more.
Oakland (OAK): about 80 miles, 1 hour 45 minutes. Often a quieter airport than SFO.
San Francisco International (SFO): about 80 miles, 1 hour 50 minutes, and longer at busy times. The most flights, with a drive across the Bay Area.
Sacramento (SMF): about 112 miles, around 2 hours. Skips Bay Area traffic entirely, though it is the longest drive of the four.

About 15 minutes away. A café, soda fountain and general store at the center of Graton since 1995, serving down-home comfort food. Lunch from 11:30 a.m. Prefer a picnic? We can arrange a catered picnic at a winery that allows one; the cost is quoted when you book.
