Tucker and Elizabeth Stein founded Cassidy Ranch in 2021. They live on the ranch with their son, Wesley, and oversee the farm and vineyard themselves. Before them, the five-acre farm property grew the fruit and vegetables sold at Bi-Rite Market in San Francisco, and before that it raised cattle and dairy cows.
The vineyard is 10 acres of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Merlot in the Carneros, farmed without herbicides, pesticides or synthetic inputs and shaped by morning fog, midday sun and afternoon winds off San Pablo Bay. The ranch makes Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and rosé, with recent releases from the Durell vineyard. The farm grows more than 100 varieties of flowers, fruit, vegetables and herbs, all certified organic by CCOF.
This is the most hands-on stop in Carneros. Guests wander the flower fields and pick their own bouquet, or fill a basket with strawberries, tomatoes, peppers and herbs in season, and wine tastings are arranged by request. It is about 10 minutes from downtown Sonoma.
$35 per person for Flower & Berry U-Pick. Wine tasting fees to be verified upon reservation.
Tasting fees as of September 2026. Wineries set and collect their own fees, and they change from time to time.

Pickup at 10:00 a.m. from a Sonoma hotel such as MacArthur Place or Ledson Hotel.
MacArthur Place, a few blocks south of the plaza, is about 15 minutes from Cassidy Ranch, and Ledson Hotel, on the east side of the Sonoma Plaza, about 20. The day below fits a six-hour tour, and extra time can be added by the hour.
A walk through the farm and vineyard, u-pick ($35) and a wine tasting arranged by request, about an hour.
About 20 minutes away. Lloyd Davis's tasting room on the corner of the Sonoma Plaza, built to teach wine without the intimidation, with a private wine educator for every group; USA Today readers voted it the No. 1 tasting room. Any five wines are $35, six wines with six artisan cheeses $50, and the signature Food & Wine Pairing $65, each about 90 minutes. By appointment; open daily 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., last tasting at 3 p.m.
About 5 minutes away. A small restaurant on East Napa Street, a few steps from the Sonoma Plaza, serving lunch Tuesday to Saturday, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Reservations open a month ahead, for parties of up to 6, and we book the table with the rest of the day. Prefer a picnic? We can arrange a catered picnic at a winery that allows one; the cost is quoted when you book.
About 15 minutes away. Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Syrah from the Durell Vineyard, planted in 1982 where Sonoma Valley, the Sonoma Coast and Carneros meet, and a source for wineries such as Kistler and Patz & Hall. The Ranch House Experience, a tasting of current releases with a tour of the vineyard, is $125, about 90 minutes, for 2 to 6 guests. Seatings at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.; prepaid reservations.
Back in Sonoma by 4:45 p.m.
Three wineries is the right pace for a day of serious tasting. Dunstan seats at set times, so this is a longer day built around its 3 p.m. seating, back by about 4:45. Cafe La Haye serves lunch Tuesday to Saturday, so the day works on those days.
About $160 to $190 per person in tasting fees for Corner 103 and Dunstan, paid directly to each winery; the Cassidy Ranch wine tasting fee is to be verified upon reservation.
Every tour is custom. This day is a starting point: your chauffeur will shape it around what matters to you, and we plan multi-day tours for guests who want to see more of wine country.
