About the Winery

MaCo Vineyards is the partnership of Roberto Corona and Jesus Maciel, who joined forces in early 2009, pairing Corona's viticulture expertise with Maciel's passion for winemaking. The family has been in the Napa Valley since 1980, and the winery calls its story the true embodiment of the American Dream. They released their very first estate-grown wine in 2013.

The estate is 49 acres on the Silverado Trail in the Oak Knoll District, planted to Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Petit Verdot and Sauvignon Blanc. The partners farm it with the stated aim of cutting synthetic inputs out of the vineyard over time, and production stays small. The estate is not where you taste; the wines are poured in town.

The tasting room is on Main Street in downtown Napa, an intimate space with limited daily reservations. Flights range from a three-wine Classic Flight you choose yourself to a Blind Flight, a guided Estate Flight of five estate wines and a five-wine Red Flight, each about an hour. It opens at 1 p.m., so it fits naturally after lunch.

Tasting Fees

$35 for the Classic Flight of three wines you choose, $50 for the Blind Flight, $60 for the guided Estate Flight of five estate wines and $70 for the five-wine Red Flight, each about 60 minutes.

Tasting fees as of September 2026. Wineries set and collect their own fees, and they change from time to time.
