Yountville · Napa Valley
A small family estate in the western hills south of Yountville, with Cabernet made by Celia Welch, and a suggested six-hour day of tasting around it.
Book a Six-Hour Wine Tour
Bill and Olga Keever bought a former horse ranch in the hills south of Yountville in 1999 and planted Cabernet Sauvignon. The first vintage, 2002, was just 46 cases. Celia Welch has made the wines since that first vintage, and the winery remains small and family owned and operated, at about 2,000 cases a year.
The six-acre estate vineyard sits in the Yountville AVA on loamy, well-drained soils full of rocks, and the focus is estate Cabernet Sauvignon. Keever is certified under both the Napa Green Winery and Napa Green Land programs, and a cave runs into the hillside behind the winery.
Guests have visited since 2006. The tasting room has a two-story window that looks out to Wappo Hill, Atlas Peak and the valley, and tastings are on the patio or in the wine cave. Each visit is a private tasting with a tour of the facility, about 90 minutes.
$100 for the private tasting and tour, about 90 minutes.
Tasting fees as of September 2026. Wineries set and collect their own fees, and they change from time to time.
