Coombsville · Napa Valley
Annie Favia and Andy Erickson's small Coombsville winery, on a historic property they replanted with native plants, orchards and a dry-farmed vineyard, and a suggested six-hour day of tasting around it.

Favia began in 2003 as a collaboration between viticulturist Annie Favia and her husband, winemaker Andy Erickson. Both had worked at some of Napa Valley's most respected wineries and vineyards; Annie trained at Newton under John Kongsgaard, worked with Cathy Corison and spent more than ten years as a viticulturist with David Abreu Vineyard Management.
The family's home and winery sit on a historic property in Coombsville, Napa Valley's youngest AVA, where they restored the land with native plants, fruit orchards and a small dry-farmed vineyard. Winemaker Jessica Tarpy works with Andy on wines from Coombsville and the Vaca Mountains, and in early 2023 the family took on an 86-acre parcel in Oakville. They farm with organic and biodynamic methods.
Favia does not run a public tasting room. The winery accepts appointments Thursday through Monday, arranged by email or phone. We send the request on your behalf and confirm the format, the place and any fee before your day. The range runs from LÍNEA Sauvignon Blanc to Cerro Sur and La Magdalena red wines and Cabernet Sauvignon from Coombsville and Oakville.
Favia does not publish a tasting fee. The format and any fee are confirmed by the winery when the appointment is set.
Tasting fees as of September 2026. Wineries set and collect their own fees, and they change from time to time.
