Danish immigrant Andras Rasmussen first settled this land high on Diamond Mountain in 1895. Fred and Mary Constant bought the overgrown property in 1993 and began making wine in 1995, and for years the estate carried their name. Today a family of owners from Asia runs it, with the stated goal of making it "a new legend in Napa Valley."
The vineyard sits at about 2,200 feet in the Diamond Mountain District, on the Sonoma-Napa county line and above the fog. Its rich, very well-drained volcanic soils give bold, concentrated mountain fruit. Winemaker Kevin Vecchiarelli works with consulting winemaker Paul Hobbs, and the two set out to show the character of each vineyard block.
Visits are private and by reservation only, and the estate hosts a very limited number of them, with priority for its Diamond Collectors. The winery describes the visit as an experience "high above the clouds overlooking the Napa Valley." We send the request on your behalf, and plan the rest of the day around the time the estate confirms.
Tasting fees to be verified upon reservation.
Tasting fees as of September 2026. Wineries set and collect their own fees, and they change from time to time.
