Napa · Napa Valley
A small family winery that began in a Brooklyn apartment and now pours single-vineyard wines in Napa's Crusher District, with vineyard tours and barrel tastings, and a suggested six-hour day of tasting around it.

Sean and Juliana McBride started out in Brooklyn, she at a publishing house and he at a law firm, and began making wine in their apartment during the financial crisis. In 2010 they sold the apartment, packed the family Volvo and moved west, making wine at White Rock Vineyards below Atlas Peak and earning UC Davis certificates in viticulture and enology. The name honors two of Sean's grandparents, Norma "Peachy" Crosby and Sally Roamann.
They bought an abandoned warehouse in Napa's Crusher District, finished building it themselves in 2014 and received their winery license in 2015, keeping production small so their own hands touch every bottle. Since 2020 they have focused on their estate vineyard, replanted to Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, with Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon and Chardonnay.
Visits are private and hosted by the founders: a Vineyard Tour and Tasting at the estate in southern Napa Valley, or a Private Barrel Tasting at the winery. Each can be customized with library wines, cheese and charcuterie, chocolates or caviar, and tastings include the estate olive oil and cask-aged balsamic. Reservations open on the 15th of each month for the following month, so plan ahead.
$100 per person for the Vineyard Tour and Tasting at the estate or the Private Barrel Tasting at the winery, 60 to 90 minutes.
Tasting fees as of September 2026. Wineries set and collect their own fees, and they change from time to time.
