Brandlin Estate

About the Winery

Brandlin Estate sits high on the steep, rocky slopes of Mount Veeder, above the fog line: 120 acres of woodland with 49 acres of vines along a ridgetop that rises past 1,250 feet. The vineyard was first planted in 1926. Today Brandlin is one of the two estates of the Two Estates Wine Collective, with Cuvaison, led by president and CEO Daniel Zepponi.

Winemaker Rebecca Peterson works mainly with Bordeaux varieties (Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc), plus Sauvignon Blanc and old-vine Zinfandel. The range includes the Estate Cabernet Sauvignon and the ThS Cabernet, whose 2021 vintage earned 94 points from Wine Spectator. As she puts it, "Mountain wines have a natural affinity for food."

Brandlin's tastings take place not on the mountain but at sister winery Cuvaison in Los Carneros, about 15 minutes from downtown Napa, where its own experiences began in March 2026. The flagship is a seated tasting of five estate wines with seasonal pairings by chef Aaron LeRoi, on a menu that changes each quarter. There is also a guided Brandlin Tasting and, weather permitting, a tasting at the Boathouse.

Tasting Fees

Tasting fees to be verified upon reservation. Brandlin does not publish its tasting prices online.
