Art Nouveau is the own label of Julie Lumgair, a Napa Valley consulting winemaker and fifth-generation family farmer. Her winemaking spans twenty-two vintages and 26 varieties from ten Napa Valley AVAs, Italy and Sonoma, and the winery says more than 100 of her wines have scored 90 points or more, with notice as a Wine Spectator "Producer to Watch."
The wines are small, single-vineyard lots from sustainably and organically farmed sites: a 2021 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon from the Money Road, Rodeno Vineyard in Oakville, a 2023 Reserve Cabernet from a 125-year-old single vineyard in Rutherford, a 2024 Reserve Malbec from a mountain block in Alexander Valley, and two 2025 Rutherford benchland whites, a Sauvignon Blanc and a Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon blend. They come in 397-gram bottles, some of the lightest glass available, sealed with Orgine natural corks. Prices run from $35 to $89.
There is no tasting room. The wines are sold online and directly from Julie, whose contact form takes questions about purchases and private tastings. The day below goes to three Rutherford estates that do host.
Art Nouveau does not offer public tastings and publishes no tasting fee. On the day below, the tasting fees are $60 at Grgich Hills, $50 at Frog's Leap and $100 at Inglenook, about $210 per person in all, paid directly to each winery.
Tasting fees as of October 2026. Wineries set and collect their own fees, and they change from time to time.
