Steve and Seanne Contursi love the wines of Bordeaux's right bank. In 2007 they found a farmhouse estate in Napa Valley planted to Cabernet Franc, and Arrow&Branch began with a single bottling of that grape before adding wines from other well-known Napa sites. The name honors the family's background in the United States rare coin business: the eagle on most American coins holds arrows and an olive branch.
For years the wines were made at shared facilities. In 2024 the family opened its own winery on Solano Avenue in the Oak Knoll District, designed for small artisan producers and shared with a collective of like-minded vintners: Arrow&Branch, Gallica, Keplinger and Coronet. The new Coronet label comes from Lady Liberty Vineyard, the estate around the winery, farmed organically with weeds hoed by hand.
Visits are by appointment in the winery's tasting lounge. The Coronet Tasting starts with Arrow&Branch Sauvignon Blanc, pours two inaugural Coronet wines from the estate and ends with a barrel sample of Cabernet Sauvignon from Beckstoffer Georges III Vineyard. The Collective Tasting compares wines from all four producers who make wine under this roof.
Arrow&Branch does not publish its current tasting fees online. The Coronet Tasting and the Collective Tasting are priced when the appointment is booked.
Tasting fees as of September 2026. Wineries set and collect their own fees, and they change from time to time.
