About the Winery

Antix is a small Napa Valley label started by two couples, Chris and Andrea Diamantis and Ken and Lisa Cashin, friends brought together by wine and music. Chris and Andrea first came to Napa Valley on their honeymoon in 1992 and spent years getting to know its wines and people before starting the brand. Their idea is simple: wine connects people.

The wines are made by Thomas Rivers Brown, known for high-scoring work at Schrader, Maybach and TOR as well as his own Rivers-Marie. Antix does not own a winery or name its vineyard sources on its website. Recent releases include a Sauvignon Blanc and a Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, sold through the website.

Antix has no tasting room of its own. Its visit page still points guests to a shared room at 810 Foothill in Calistoga booked on Tock, but that booking page no longer works and the room no longer pours Antix, so there is no public tasting right now. The day below goes to Rivers-Marie and Mending Wall, two wineries where Brown makes the wine, plus a Spring Mountain estate.

Tasting Fees

Antix does not offer tastings.

Tasting fees as of September 2026. Wineries set and collect their own fees, and they change from time to time.

A Suggested Six-Hour Day

Pickup at 9:40 a.m. from a nearby hotel such as Alila Napa Valley or Meadowood.

9:40 · Pickup at Alila Napa Valley or Meadowood

Since Antix does not host visitors, this day takes you to three sought-after estates nearby that do. We pick up at 9:40 so you're seated for Rivers-Marie's 10 a.m. tasting in Calistoga: Alila Napa Valley, a Hyatt resort in downtown St. Helena, is about 20 minutes away, and Meadowood, the resort at the foot of Howell Mountain, about the same. The day runs just under seven hours, and extra time can be added by the hour.

10:00 · Rivers-Marie

About 20 minutes away. Thomas Rivers Brown and Genevieve Marie Welsh's own winery on Foothill Boulevard, opened in 2020, pouring small-lot single-vineyard Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Cabernet. A seated tasting of current wines takes about 60 to 90 minutes; the fee is confirmed when the winery accepts the reservation. By advance reservation, with tastings at 10 a.m., noon and 2 p.m.

11:45 · Mending Wall

About 12 minutes away. A boutique estate on the Silverado Trail where Brown is a partner and the winemaker, with 20 acres of Cabernet and Sauvignon Blanc in the far northeast corner of the St. Helena AVA. The Estate Tasting is $85 and the Collectors Tasting $125, each 60 to 90 minutes. By appointment.

1:30 · Lunch at The Charter Oak

About 12 minutes away. Lunch at The Charter Oak in St. Helena, Christopher and Martina Kostow's family-style New American restaurant, open daily from 11:30 a.m. (11 a.m. on weekends). Prefer a picnic? We can arrange a catered picnic at a winery that allows one; the cost is quoted when you book.

2:45 · Behrens Family Winery

About 15 minutes away. A Spring Mountain winery where Les Behrens, who has no formal training, has made every wine since the start, in tiny lots bottled unfined and unfiltered, and the tasting sheets carry each guest's name. The Behrens Family Winery Tasting is $100, about 90 minutes, usually five wines. By appointment, Monday to Saturday, at 10:15 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 2:45 p.m.

4:15 · Back to your hotel

Back by about 4:35 p.m., just under seven hours after pickup.

About $185 per person in tasting fees for Mending Wall and Behrens, plus the Rivers-Marie fee, which the winery confirms when it accepts the reservation; paid directly to each winery.

Behrens hosts Monday to Saturday, so plan this day for any day but Sunday. It runs just under seven hours, back around 4:35 p.m.

Every tour is custom. This day is a starting point: your chauffeur will shape it around what matters to you, and we plan multi-day tours for guests who want to see more of wine country.
