Perri Jaye is vineyard manager and winemaker of her own small label, and her hands touch every step, from pruning to fermentation to bottling. She first poured Perri Jaye Pinot Noir for guests in February 2019, at a custom-crush open house at Inspiration Vineyards.
The Pinot Noir grows on a 2.6-acre estate in the Russian River Valley, from a one-hectare parcel, the Castaldi Vineyard, planted to three Dijon clones, 777, 115 and 828. It is farmed sustainably and organically, with honeybee hives and a pollinator garden among the vines. Grapes are hand-picked in the early morning and fermented in small lots, the wine is moved by gravity or inert gas rather than pumps, the Rosé is cold-stabilized by setting the barrels outdoors on the coldest winter nights, and each bottle is hand-filled, unfined and unfiltered. Her 2021 Pinot Noir earned her fourth Double Gold at the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition.
There is no public tasting room. Tastings are by appointment, and vineyard visits can be arranged with Perri herself, which makes it a very personal visit. The Pinot Club ships in fall and spring, with twice-yearly pickup events at the estate.
Tasting fees to be verified upon reservation.
Tasting fees as of September 2026. Wineries set and collect their own fees, and they change from time to time.
