Horse & Plow is a small, family-run winery in Sebastopol, founded in 2008 by owner and winemaker Chris Condos. He studied viticulture and enology at UC Davis, worked at Pine Ridge Winery and founded Vinum Cellars in Oakville in 1997.
The winery works with organic farming, small-lot fermentations and traditional techniques, using fruit from across the North Coast, and makes a broad range of white and red wines along with dry and sparkling ciders. Quantities are limited, and much of the wine goes to club members.
Tastings are in the Tasting Barn, a redwood barn on two acres of gardens and orchards, with plenty of outdoor seating. Flights, glasses and bottles of wine and cider are poured, and cheese, charcuterie, nuts and olives are sold on site. It is a relaxed, easygoing stop, a few minutes from the bigger names on Gravenstein Highway. We confirm current details when we book.
The winery does not publish its tasting fees. Flights, glasses and bottles of wine and cider are offered. We confirm the current price when we book.
Tasting fees as of October 2026. Wineries set and collect their own fees, and they change from time to time.
