Ross and Jennifer Halleck planted Halleck Vineyard in 1993 around their home on Burnside Road, in the hills of Sebastopol. The vineyard was meant as a college fund for their three sons, and at about 900 feet it is one of the higher vineyards in Sonoma County. The first wine from the estate, in 2002, was named the best Pinot Noir in the United States.
The lineup has grown to single-vineyard Pinot Noir from the Russian River Valley, Sonoma Coast and Sonoma Mountain, including the Three Sons Cuvée, along with Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, a dry Gewürztraminer and a dry white Zinfandel. The winery describes its wines as all natural.
Tastings are now held at the Paradise Ridge property in the hills above Santa Rosa. The Halleck Vineyard Experience is a 90-minute tasting of six wines, each paired with a small bite, at a communal table in a private tasting room over the production area or on the patio. Paradise Ridge's sculpture garden is right there to explore afterward. We confirm current details when we book.
$75 per person for the Halleck Vineyard Experience, six wines with small bites, about 90 minutes. Complimentary for Inner Circle members. We confirm the current price when we book.
Tasting fees as of October 2026. Wineries set and collect their own fees, and they change from time to time.
