Winemaker David Rossi's small Pinot Noir label, poured in a tasting room just off the Sonoma Plaza, and a suggested six-hour day of tasting around it.

Fulcrum Wines is the label winemaker David Rossi founded in 2005, choosing the name when he started the winery. Rossi is in the vineyards regularly, sometimes pruning by hand, and makes the decisions from harvest through the choice of oak.
The focus is Pinot Noir. Rather than tie himself to one region, Rossi chooses vineyards that inspire him, and the small portfolio of vineyard-designated and appellation wines draws on Anderson Valley, the Russian River Valley, the Sonoma Coast, Carneros and Chalone.
The tasting room is at 25 East Napa Street, a few steps off the Sonoma Plaza, and pours the vineyard-designated Pinot Noirs and other limited-production wines. Guests choose any five wines, and the staff talk through where each one was grown. It pairs easily with lunch on the plaza and the Sonoma wineries a few minutes away. We confirm current details when we book.
$40 per person to sample any five wines, waived with the purchase of two bottles. We confirm the current price when we book.
Tasting fees as of October 2026. Wineries set and collect their own fees, and they change from time to time.
