F. Teldeschi Winery

About the Winery

F. Teldeschi Winery traces its roots to Franco Teldeschi, an Italian immigrant who planted the first vines on this land on Dry Creek Road, and the winery counts more than 70 years of winegrowing here. The property is also home to Red Owl Vineyards, its sister label, and the two share a wine shop and wine clubs.

The F. Teldeschi wines are Dry Creek Valley classics: bold Zinfandel, Petite Sirah and Carignan from vineyards that have matured over the decades. Red Owl's hand-crafted, unfiltered wines come from a philosophy of respect for the land, the vines and the soil.

The winery invites guests to stroll through its old vines, see the winemaking and taste, but it does not publish hours, fees or a booking system, and contact is by email. It sits close to the Dry Creek General Store, at the crossroads of the valley. We arrange the visit on your behalf and confirm the time when booking.
