About the Winery

The vineyard on Inglewood Avenue was first planted in the 1870s. In 2007 the Young family, Jim and Jacky with their children Scott and Mary, bought the 16-acre estate and set out to learn the wine business together. Today Scott and his mother Jacky make the wines, and Jim works to keep the winery running smoothly.

The estate sits on the benchland of the St. Helena AVA, on an alluvial fan spreading from the base of the Mayacamas, with well-drained gravelly loam. The family farms organically and by hand and ferments with native yeasts. The focus is Cabernet Sauvignon and Bordeaux-style reds, and the Youngs also grow Aligoté, a white Burgundy grape that is very rare in Napa Valley.

Visits are private and last about 90 minutes. You start with a glass of white or rosé in the foyer, then take a short guided walk through the winery and the vines near it, among olive trees and old oaks. The tour ends with a seated tasting in the tasting salon, filled with pieces from Jim and Jacky's art collection and looking out at the Aligoté vines.

Tasting Fees

$125 for the Estate Tasting and $175 for the Reserve Tasting with a guided walk through the vineyards and winery. Visits run about 90 minutes.

Tasting fees as of September 2026. Wineries set and collect their own fees, and they change from time to time.
