About the Winery

Rebellium Wines joins wine and art. Artist Blake Barrios paints glass bottles by hand with oil paints, one-of-a-kind pieces that have been commissioned and collected by musicians including Carlos Santana and Sir Paul McCartney, and he is artist in residence at the Napa River Ecology Center. The winemaker is Jon Keyes, who started at Sine Qua Non, worked at Two Hands in the Barossa Valley, was cellar master at Outpost Wines under Thomas Brown and later made wine with Mark Herold.

The current wine is the 2024 Rebellium Cabernet Sauvignon from the Levy Vineyard in Oakville, offered as the "Ghost" series in hand-etched, numbered and signed bottles ($495) and magnums ($1,000), and as a hand-painted custom magnum ($6,500). The 2024 is listed as coming soon, by allocation request.

There is no tasting room. Rebellium's address is in San Rafael, in Marin County, and it does not host tastings in Napa or Sonoma. The wine is sold by allocation request through its website. The day below goes to Oakville, where the Levy Vineyard grapes are grown, and to three estates there that do host.

Tasting Fees

Rebellium does not offer tastings. On the day below, fees run $40 at Saddleback Cellars, $65 at Silver Oak and $175 at Far Niente, paid to each winery.

Tasting fees as of October 2026. Wineries set and collect their own fees, and they change from time to time.
