About the Winery

In the summer of 1996, Bryan Page toured chateaus across Bordeaux at the end of a culinary trip and came home set on making his own wine. He worked in restaurants, saving every penny, while apprenticing at Napa Valley wineries, and in 1997 Page Wine Cellars made its first Proprietary Red: 36 cases. His path ran from culinary student and server to chef, sommelier and winemaker.

The brothers stress that no consultant makes their wine; Bryan and Chris craft it themselves. They work in the tradition of Bordeaux's garagistes, making "garage wine" in their warehouse and putting the effort into the wine rather than the surroundings. They describe the style as elegance with an edge, and the Revolver Cabernet Franc "The Fury" and Cabernet "The Stash" have a cult following.

A visit here is to the working winery, with barrels instead of a showpiece tasting room, which is the point. Wine club members taste free at the winery, and others book by phone or email. The winery does not publish its days, hours or fees online, so we confirm everything, including where to arrive, when we book.

Tasting Fees

Page Wine Cellars does not publish a tasting fee (complimentary for wine club members). Tasting fees to be verified upon reservation.

Tasting fees as of September 2026. Wineries set and collect their own fees, and they change from time to time.
