About the Winery

Brad and Lisa Warner founded Leto Cellars in 2008. Both had worked for years behind the scenes in the wine business, and over a spring lunch Brad asked, "What if we had our own brand?" Brad is the winemaker; Lisa is the vintner and co-founder.

Leto makes limited-production Napa Valley wines, less than 1,500 cases a year, and offers them first to its mailing list before any reach the general public. The couple run a working winery in southern Napa Valley, tending barrels and making the wine on site.

Guests are hosted in the cellar itself, with table service, at the working winery. Hours and fees are not published, so the visit is arranged with the winery ahead of time. It is a personal, behind-the-scenes start to the day before Carneros and a Coombsville cave.

Tasting Fees

Tasting fees to be verified upon reservation.

Tasting fees as of September 2026. Wineries set and collect their own fees, and they change from time to time.

A Suggested Six-Hour Day

Pickup at 10:00 a.m. from a nearby hotel such as The Meritage Resort or Westin Verasa Napa. The Leto appointment time is set with the winery, and we build the day around it.

10:00 · Pickup at The Meritage Resort or Westin Verasa Napa

The Meritage Resort is about 5 minutes from Leto in south Napa, and Westin Verasa Napa, downtown, about 12 minutes. The day below runs a little over six hours, and extra time can be added by the hour.

10:15 · Leto Cellars

A seated tasting in the cellar, by appointment. We allow about an hour; the time and any fee are confirmed by the winery.

11:30 · Domaine Carneros

About 15 minutes away. A French-style château on a Carneros hilltop and one of the best-known sparkling wine houses in the valley, with a terrace that looks out over the rolling vineyards. The Daily Tasting Experience, a flight of four sparkling wines, starts at $45 for about an hour. By appointment daily from 10 a.m.; everyone must be 21 or older.

12:45 · Lunch at Oenotri

About 15 minutes away. Lunch at Oenotri on First Street in downtown Napa, an Italian restaurant serving lunch daily from 11:30 a.m. Prefer a picnic? We can arrange a catered picnic at a winery that allows one; the cost is quoted when you book.

2:00 · Palmaz Vineyards

About 12 minutes away. A family estate east of Napa with an underground winery, and guests love the guided cave tour. The Private Tour and Portfolio Tasting is $150 per person for about two hours. By appointment only.

4:00 · Back to your hotel

Back by about 4:20 p.m., a little over six hours after pickup.

About $195 per person in tasting fees for Domaine Carneros and Palmaz, paid directly to each winery, plus any Leto fee, confirmed when we book.

The Palmaz tour runs about two hours, so we leave off an optional fourth stop; three wineries is the right pace. Leto's visits depend on the winery's schedule, so we confirm that time first.

Every tour is custom. This day is a starting point: your chauffeur will shape it around what matters to you, and we plan multi-day tours for guests who want to see more of wine country.
