Calistoga · Napa Valley
A luxury Napa Valley rosé from old-vine mountain Grenache, made by three acclaimed Cabernet winemakers, with limited tasting appointments, and a suggested six-hour day of tasting around it.

Abloom was founded by three winemakers with long Cabernet careers: Molly Hill, 18 years at Sequoia Grove; Ashley Hepworth, who rose from harvest intern to winemaker at Joseph Phelps, making Insignia; and Sally Johnson Blum, 15 years at Pride Mountain and now a consultant to wineries including Tamber Bey. They set out to prove Napa can make rosé with the same rigor as its finest reds.
The wine is inspired by the rosés of Bandol in Provence and made in the Méthode Provençal style. It comes only from old-vine, high-elevation Grenache from a single mountain vineyard, a grape with very limited plantings in Napa Valley. The founders call Abloom the first luxury rosé born in Napa Valley, and all three sign the front label.
Abloom has no public tasting room, and appointments are limited. Requests go to the founders by email, and the winery confirms when and where you taste. It suits a celebration day: a glass of serious rosé before the Cabernet estates. We send the request and build the rest of the day once Abloom confirms.
Tasting fees to be verified upon reservation. Abloom does not publish a tasting fee.
Tasting fees as of September 2026. Wineries set and collect their own fees, and they change from time to time.
