About the Winery

Parea Wines takes its name from the Greek word for a close circle of friends who gather simply to enjoy each other's company, and each wine is meant to bring people together around the table. The website is signed by Shannon, Lauren, Peter and Matthew, and the label's winery license is in Windsor.

Parea makes its wines with a low-intervention approach meant to let each vineyard and vintage show. Current wines are a 2023 Mencía ($28), a 2022 Haus Klopp Vineyard Chardonnay ($55), a 2022 Albariño, a 2023 skin-contact Pinot Gris and a 2021 Klopp Ranch Pinot Noir, several offered at lower Cellar Raid prices.

Parea's Visit page says a Sonoma County tasting room is coming soon, and invites people to join the mailing list to hear when it opens. Until then the wines are sold online and through the mailing list, and Parea does not receive visitors. The day below starts in Windsor and moves into the Russian River Valley south of Healdsburg.

Tasting Fees

Parea does not offer tastings yet. On the day below, expect about $150 per person: $50 at Martinelli, $35 at Merriam and $65 at Copain.

Tasting fees as of October 2026. Wineries set and collect their own fees, and they change from time to time.
