Lambert Bridge Winery

About the Winery

Lambert Bridge takes its name from C.L. Lambert, who built a ranch here in 1915 along with the trestle bridge that still stands. The winery was founded in 1975, in the first wave of premium wineries in Dry Creek Valley after Prohibition, and the Chambers family bought it in 1993. Patti Chambers is owner and chair of the board.

Jennifer Higgins is winemaker and general manager, and the winery keeps production small. The estate vineyards cover about 46 acres, led by the 37-acre Chambers Vineyard, planted to Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Sémillon and the Bordeaux reds Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Merlot and Petit Verdot, with smaller blocks of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petite Sirah. Sauvignon Blanc and Zinfandel also come from partner vineyards such as Rockpile and Bevill.

Lambert Bridge is known for small-production Bordeaux varieties and blends. Seated tastings are in the Redwood Barrel Room or outdoors, and the private Cellar Collection Experience pours five limited-production wines in the Cellar Room. Children and leashed dogs are welcome.

Tasting Fees

$75 for the Winemaker's Selection Experience, a mix of red and white wines with light nibbles. $125 for the Cellar Collection Experience of five limited-production wines with curated bites. $95 for the Garden Experience, a charcuterie basket for an unhosted picnic, weather permitting.

Tasting fees as of September 2026. Wineries set and collect their own fees, and they change from time to time.
