Billy and Beth Morris began looking for a Napa Valley home in 2010, hoping to bring their love of family, food and farming from Florida. In 2012 they bought two adjoining parcels, 80 acres of woodland and vineyard in the hills of Diamond Mountain overlooking the valley, and later added land to reach 110 acres. The ranch is a family home shared with their children.
Glorious Revolution is a single wine: Morris Family Vineyard Diamond Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon. Thomas Rivers Brown, the South Carolina native who started at Turley in 1997 and went on to Schrader, Outpost and his own Rivers-Marie, makes it with minimal intervention. General manager Aaron Michaelis has overseen the vineyards, property and wine sales since 2017.
There is no tasting room. Tastings are arranged through a reservation inquiry on the winery's website, so a visit is personal and depends on the family's schedule. The ranch is a place of woods and long views, and guests come for a close look at one mountain vineyard. Once the winery confirms, we plan the rest of the day around it.
Tasting fees to be verified upon reservation. Glorious Revolution does not publish a tasting fee.
Tasting fees as of September 2026. Wineries set and collect their own fees, and they change from time to time.
