About the Winery

Brasswood opened in 2016 on Highway 29, just north of downtown St. Helena. Stacia Dowdell is the owner and proprietor, and co-founder Marcus Marquez runs the winery estate as general manager. Winemaking is led by consulting winemaker Angelina Mondavi, and the estate calls itself Napa Valley's Wine and Food Village.

The Brasswood Cellars winery works from 17,000 square feet of caves and also makes wine for a group of Vintner Partners. Brasswood's own wines come from estate-owned vineyards in St. Helena, Los Carneros, Coombsville and the Russian River Valley, and its limited-production wines are bottled on the property and sold in the Brasswood Boutique.

A visit here can be as short or as long as you like. The bar tasting is a quick 30-minute flight that welcomes walk-ins, while seated tastings, cave tastings and a food and wine pairing run 60 minutes to two hours. The same property has a bar and kitchen, a bakery, an art gallery and a boutique.

Tasting Fees

$40 for the Taste of Napa Valley bar tasting, 30 minutes. $65 for the Signature Tasting, 60 minutes. $75 for the Seasonal Tasting with Cave Tour and $125 for the Cave Tasting, each 90 minutes. $155 for the Private Sommelier Tasting or the Sensory Globe Experience, each 90 minutes. $185 for the Wine + Food Experience, two hours.

Tasting fees as of September 2026. Wineries set and collect their own fees, and they change from time to time.
