Book a Six-Hour Wine Tour
Bennett Lane sits on Highway 128 just north of Calistoga. It began in 1989 as Vigil Vineyards, and the winery was built in 1996. It takes its name from James N. Bennett, an early settler north of present-day Calistoga.
Randy and Lisa Lynch bought the winery in 2003. The winery and its vineyards are Napa Green certified.
The wines are led by Cabernet Sauvignon and the Maximus red and white blends, which the winery calls feasting wines. Tastings are seated and relaxed, and it is one of the more welcoming visits for families and dogs.
From $35 for the Taste of the Napa Valley. $55 for the Cabernet vertical and $75 for the Cabernet exploration, each about 90 minutes. $225 for private wine blending. One tasting fee is waived for every three bottles purchased.
Tasting fees as of September 2026. Wineries set and collect their own fees, and they change from time to time.
