Todd Anderson founded Anderson's Conn Valley Vineyards in 1983 with his parents, Gus and Phyllis. More than four decades later, Todd and his wife Sarah own the family winery, and Todd is still its farmer and winemaker. The winery calls him one of the longest continuously operating owner-winemakers in Napa Valley, and he guides every vintage from the vineyard to the bottle.
The 40-acre estate sits in Conn Valley at the base of Howell Mountain, in the eastern hills a short drive from downtown St. Helena. Volcanic soils and several microclimates shape small-lot Estate Cabernet Sauvignon and the Éloge and Right Bank Bordeaux-style blends, often bottled unfiltered. The wine is sold mainly direct to visitors and members, and Todd received Best Winemaker honors in local Best of Napa Valley awards in 2024 and 2025.
Visits are seated and hosted, in the estate's wine caves or outdoors, and the winery says they are often guided by Todd himself. The Signature Tasting pours seven to ten wines, including winery-only bottlings, over an hour and a half to two hours. Longer tastings add barrel samples, library vintages and a charcuterie board. Expect an unhurried conversation about the vineyard and the family rather than a busy tasting bar.
$135 for the Signature Tasting in the cave, 1.5 to 2 hours, with an optional charcuterie board. $250 for the Aurum Tasting Experience, 2 hours or more, with barrel tastings and charcuterie. $500 for the Estate Vintage Tasting Experience with library wines and charcuterie, up to 2.5 hours.
Tasting fees as of September 2026. Wineries set and collect their own fees, and they change from time to time.
