About 15 minutes away. A family farm turned estate winery, with tram tours and a baseball field among the vines. The seated Estate Wine Tasting of five vineyard-designate wines is $30, about an hour. Walk-ins welcome.
11:50 · Lunch at Russian River Brewing Company
About 15 minutes away. Downtown Santa Rosa's brewpub, home of Pliny the Elder, with pizza and pub food. Prefer a picnic? We can arrange a catered picnic at a winery that allows one; the cost is quoted when you book.
1:00 · Paradise Ridge Winery
About 10 minutes away. A family winery with a sculpture grove in the hills above Santa Rosa. The Estate Tasting of four estate wines is $35. Open daily from 11 a.m.
2:30 · Hobo Wine Company
About 10 minutes away. A tour of a working winery and a tasting in its "living room" with the makers of Folk Machine and Ghostwriter. $20 per taster, waived with a three-bottle purchase. By appointment.
3:55 · Back to your rental
About 5 minutes away. Back by 4:00 p.m., six hours after pickup.

Adds about an hour. Seated, food-paired tastings in Railroad Square. Nibbles & Wine, three wines with small bites, is $25.
