Rojas Vineyards and Winery began in 2009, when Jaime Rojas and his family bought a 12-acre property in west Santa Rosa, in the Russian River Valley. Jaime's father, Antonio, planted the first vine of what became the Bravo Toro Vineyard in 2012, and the first harvest came in 2016. Today Jaime and his wife, Jana, run the winery. Rojas means red in Spanish, and the bull in the logo honors the family's Mexican roots.
Bravo Toro has been farmed organically for more than a decade, with seven acres of CCOF-certified Pinot Noir and an acre of Sauvignon Blanc. The family also farms a small Italian-style vineyard on Brack Road in Dry Creek Valley, interplanted with olive trees, with Sangiovese, Grenache, Sagrantino and Cabernet Sauvignon. The lineup centers on Pinot Noir and Sangiovese, with rosés of each.
As a micro-winery, Rojas has no public tasting room. Instead it hosts private tastings of five wines for groups of six or more, about two hours, which makes it a good fit for a family or a group of friends traveling together. We confirm the details when we book.
$35 per person for a private tasting of five wines, about two hours, for a minimum of six guests. We confirm the current price when we book.
Tasting fees as of October 2026. Wineries set and collect their own fees, and they change from time to time.
