About the Winery

Domaine de la Rivière belongs to Marla and Geoff Bedrosian, a New York family who fell for the Russian River Valley. In 2011 they bought a small Pinot Noir vineyard in the Middle Reach and, still living 3,000 miles away, became grape growers. For several years they farmed it and sold the fruit to other producers, and after replanting part of the vineyard they launched their own label in 2017.

The Middle Reach is a narrow stretch of land along the Russian River between southern Healdsburg and Forestville, where daily fog and sun make for a long growing season. The wines are Russian River Valley Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, including the Two Forces Pinot Noir and the Ritchie Vineyard Chardonnay, along with the Shoshana Rosé of Pinot Noir and single-vineyard Pinot Noirs for the cellar.

Visits are seated tastings of current and library releases at Grand Cru Custom Crush in Windsor, for 2 to 8 guests, in the company of the family. It is a quiet, personal tasting a few minutes from the big Russian River Valley estates. We confirm current details when we book.

Tasting Fees

The seated tasting of current and library releases is by reservation. The winery does not publish its fee, so it is confirmed when we book.

Tasting fees as of October 2026. Wineries set and collect their own fees, and they change from time to time.
