About the Winery

Bucher Wines belongs to John and Diane Bucher. John came home to Healdsburg after UC Davis to run Bucher Farms, the family dairy, which he later converted to organic and which still operates today. Looking to diversify, he planted the first Pinot Noir blocks of Bucher Vineyard in 1997 and sold the fruit to other wineries.

In 2011 the Buchers crushed their first grapes for their own label, and the first wines were released two years later. The focus is Russian River Valley Pinot Noir, with Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc alongside.

The wines are poured at Grand Cru Custom Crush in Windsor, where they are made. Tastings are private and seated on the patio, for up to eight guests, and the lineup includes the Bucher Vineyard, Pommard Clone and Three Sixty Pinot Noirs. The winery advertises the tasting as complimentary, and we confirm the details when we book.

Tasting Fees

Complimentary, as advertised by the winery, for a private, seated tasting of three Pinot Noirs and a Sauvignon Blanc. We confirm the current terms when we book.

Tasting fees as of October 2026. Wineries set and collect their own fees, and they change from time to time.
